SOLUTIONS FOR ACUTE DISC PAIN.
THE PAIN CAN BE EXCRUCIATING. YOU NEED RELIEF. BUT DRUGS AND SURGERY ARE NOT THE ONLY ANSWERS.
Studies show that people who undergo surgery for disc herniation do no better than patients who did not have surgery.

DISC COMPRESSION – HIDDEN CAUSE OF MANY OTHER CONDITIONS
DISC COMPRESSION CAUSES NERVE PAIN AND ALSO MUSCLE WEAKNESS.
MUSCLE WEAKNESS CAN THEN LEAD TO MANY JOINT PROBLEMS.
OVER THE ALMOST 30 YEARS I HAVE BEEN IN PRACTICE, I HAVE REGULARLY SEEN DISC COMPRESSION CAUSE:
- SHOULDER PAIN
- ELBOW PAIN
- WRIST AND HAND PAIN
- MID BACK PAIN
- CHEST PAIN
- ABDOMINAL PAIN
- PELVIC PAIN
- HIP PAIN
- KNEE PAIN
- ANKLE PAIN AND FOOT PAIN
Is is a disc? Is it coming from gut toxicity? Is it blood sugar? There are solutions but the first step is a thorough investigation.
In my experience most shoulder pain is caused by neck problems, but it can also be caused by referred pain from the heart or gallbladder or any number of other issues. But it is always important to rule out the simple things.
Knee pain is commonly caused by muscle weakness and imbalance due to nerve compression in the low back.

Most medical doctors, physical therapists and even many chiropractors do not know how to accurately diagnose disc compression. Over the years I have developed a system to do this.
AS ACCURATE AS AN MRI
A study published in the journal ORTHOPEDICS found that MRI reports on the shoulder were wrong 60% of the time.
A patient came to see me with a report of a complete tear of the supraspinatus muscle. When I tested the muscle he had full strength. Impossible? No, common.
MRI scans are typically done with the patient lying flat. As most patients know, that can often temporarily decompress a moderate disc herniation.
In a short office visit, I can typically discover the exact location of nerve compression.
DISC PAIN – THE AUTOIMMUNE CONNECTION
The Chief of Orthopedics at Duke found autoimmune cells in degenerative discs.
The disc is not ordinarily in contact with the blood and immune system, but injury can change that.
In many of the most difficult, chronic disc herniations there is an autoimmune component.
This means that the immune systems is producing antibodies against the disc itself.
It’s similar to the response your body makes to a splinter or other foreign object – inflammation and pain.
This calls for a totally different approach in addition to treating the physical aspect of the disc herniation.
“IT’S JUST MUSCLE PAIN”
Maybe. Sometimes. And there are specific treatments if it is. Most of the time there is another underlying cause. I am skilled in many different therapeutic techniques for muscle and joint pain:
- Interferential electrical stimulation
- Percussor myofascial release
- PEMF – Pulsed Electromagnetic Frequency therapy
- Active Isolated Stretching
Many clinics offer computerized compression. These machines cost many tens of thousands of dollars. I see results much more quickly by teaching you to do compression on your own. If you understand the problem and take charge, it can save you thousands.
CHRONIC DISC HERNIATION AND SPINAL DEGENERATION
What happens in a disc herniation is that there are tears within the disc.
Eventually these lead to thinning of the disc. This is one of the main reasons we lose height with age.
The good news is that, in most cases, disc herniations can be accurately diagnosed and treated – stopping the process and preventing further degeneration.
You don’t have to suffer now – and you don’t have to see your symptoms continually get worse as you age.
Feel better, have greater flexibility and the energy to do what you really want to do in life.
LIVE BRIGHTLY … it’s within you!
