How to Become A Patient

Other hours by special arrangement. I am sometimes available for Saturday appointments.

A typical new patient visit is one hour in length, depending on the complexity of your health issues.

The charge is $70 for 1/2 hour and $140 per hour. This does not include recommended supplements or supplies.

I have a cash practice but will submit claims for you electronically. This means I expect payment at the time of service. With your permission a claim will be sent directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. This give you the fastest turn around time on reimbursement. It is your responsibility to verify benefits.

The reason for this policy is that I have made a choice to see fewer patients and spend more time with you in order to find and treat the cause of your problem. In most cases this results in a quicker resolution of your condition and usually in less total cost.

Regular office hours are 8:30 - 5 TWF and by appointment at other times.

Telephone Consultations

Brief 10- minute, consultations for the purpose of determining if you are a good candidate for treatment are available at no charge, by appointment.

Extended consultations for patients who are unable to visit Chapel Hill are available by appointment. This can include a review of your symptoms and current treatment, suggestions for finding the appropriate practitioners in your area, and suggestions on self care, what to expect, etc.
